Island Walk-About
The island is geographically diverse. There are several protected coves, high bluffs, meadows, a marsh, plus many large and small beaches. The interior of the island is a vast, untouched forest of spruce. There is a great variety of other plant life as well, including blueberry and cranberry bushes, raspberries, blackberries, strawberries, and wildflowers.
We've carved out a trail that allows you to walk-about the island and experience all of the beauty. The trail leads you along the edge of the shoreline, along the bluffs, through the forest, past the coves and over the marsh. Around every corner there are surprises and amazing views. This is a one of a kind, absolutely pristine, little piece of paradise.
